Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This policy explains how STAYDHAM ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use staydham.com, our products on staydham.com subdomains (such as queue.staydham.com and vedanta.staydham.com), and our WhatsApp messaging.
Who we are
STAYDHAM is a Udyam registered micro enterprise (UDYAM-UP-54-0122237) located at 143, Radhraman Temple, Radharam Temple, Vrindavan, District Mathura, Uttar Pradesh 281121, India. You can reach us at staydham@gmail.com or +91 89236 60077.
Information we collect
From businesses that use our products (clinic, restaurant and hotel owners and their staff):
- Name, phone number, email address and login details
- Business name, address and settings you enter in the product
- Payment and subscription records
From the customers of those businesses (patients, guests and diners), when the business enters it or you send it to us on WhatsApp:
- Name, phone number and WhatsApp profile name
- Age and gender, where a clinic asks for them to create a token
- Token, booking or order details, and the messages you send to the business
- For hotels: stay details and identity details that the law requires hotels to record
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, error logs and session cookies needed for login.
How we use it
- To run the service you asked for, such as issuing a token, sending queue updates, taking an order or checking in a guest
- To send service messages on WhatsApp, such as your token number, how many patients are ahead of you, and when it is your turn
- To provide customer support and fix problems
- To keep our systems secure and prevent misuse
- To meet legal requirements
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
WhatsApp messaging
We send and receive WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Messages pass through Meta's systems and are also covered by WhatsApp's privacy policy. We only message people who have contacted the business first or have given their number to the business for this purpose. To stop messages, reply STOP at any time.
Our role for business customers
When a clinic, restaurant or hotel uses our products, that business decides what data to collect about its own customers. We store and process that data on the business's behalf and only to provide the service to them.
Who we share it with
- Hosting and server providers that store our data
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) to deliver WhatsApp messages
- Payment processors, such as Razorpay, to handle payments
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it
How long we keep it
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements. Daily queue and token records are kept for reporting and then deleted or anonymised. When a business closes its account, we delete its data within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Security
Our products use HTTPS, password-protected staff accounts and restricted server access. No system is fully secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform affected users if a breach occurs, as required by law.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
How to delete your data
Send an email to staydham@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request", or send a WhatsApp message to +91 89236 60077. Include the phone number or email you used. We will confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days, except records that the law requires us to keep.
If you are a patient, guest or customer of a business that uses our products, you can also ask that business directly.
Children
Our products are used by businesses, not by children directly. A clinic may register a child as a patient with a parent or guardian's details; that data is handled as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will inform our business customers.
